Wine stain removal, being quick is the message<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The most important thing in wine stain removal? React as quickly as you can. Dop up as much wine as possible with paper towels and rinse the stain with cold (sparkling) water. Put a garment or tablecloth in the washing machine as soon as possible. And if necessary, leave to bleach on the washing line in the sun. <\/p>\n\n

And what about salt?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Salt is perhaps the best-known remedy for red wine stains. It has an absorbent and bleaching effect. So for a white tablecloth, salt is definitely a good idea. But absolutely not for colored textiles, nor is it the best solution for your carpet. You’ll have trouble getting the salt out. Feel free to sprinkle salt on the French fries, but keep it away from the wine stain. <\/p>\n\n

How to remove white wine and ros\u00e9 stains<\/strong>?<\/h2>\n\n

Treat ros\u00e9 stains the same way you treat red wine stains. With white wine, simply washing your clothes or tablecloth is often enough. A wash will solve the problem by itself. On white fabric, the stain may remain slightly visible, in which case bleach is your lifesaver. <\/p>\n\n
