This is an important step, otherwise you may cause scratches.   <\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Soak the adhesive residue<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose (warm water and) dish soap, cleaning vinegar or isopropyl alcohol and apply to a soft cloth or sponge to sufficiently moisten the adhesive residue.  <\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Remove adhesive residue from glass with a razor blade or glass scraper<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carefully scrape off the residue with a razor blade or glass scraper.
