How to wash stuffed toys and dolls?
Children and their favorite stuffed toy, a pure love you should not underestimate. They literally take it everywhere. Unfortunately, you are not usually allowed to wash them in the washing machine. The freezer then offers a worthy alternative. Put the stuffed animals in it for a few hours and then let them dry in the open air. That way they will be completely fresh and bacteria-free again.
Dolls wash just like a real baby. For this, use a washcloth and some soap and then rinse with some lukewarm water. You can, of course, wash the doll’s clothes in the washing machine.
How to clean wooden toys?
When cleaning wooden toys, be sure to use only natural products because children like to put their toys in their mouths. For example, use bicarbonate. This works just as well and is not harmful if a child gets leftovers of it in his mouth.
Cleaning other toys
Duplo, Lego, Playmobil, … you name it. All toys that are made to last a lifetime. Feel free to wash them in the washing machine at 40 degrees maximum. Preferably do this in a pillowcase, laundry bag or net that you can close. Spinning is not necessary.
Cleaning battery-operated toys is best not done with a lot of water. A damp cloth with some detergent is usually sufficient.
