Most of these stains are formed by the combination of sweat and deodorants containing aluminum. So it is important to look at the composition of your deodorant before you purchase it.

How can you prevent sweat stains?

As always, prevention works better than resolution. But how do you do that? We will give you some tips to prevent sweat stains on your clothes:

  • Ox gall soap: T-shirts and shirts in light colors can be preemptively treated with ox gall soap before they go into the washing machine.
  • Choose the right deodorant: preferably buy unscented deodorant without aluminum. Also be sure to let deodorant dry before putting on your clothes.
  • Wash immediately: be sure to wash your garments immediately after a heavy sweat session. This will ensure that the stains do not become stubborn.

Caution! Ensure good ventilation when working with ammonia.

Dab a small amount of ammonia on a clean, dry cloth and dab on the stains with it. Leave on for about an hour and then machine wash as usual.
