Cleaning the TV screen with a handy step-by-step plan
- Turn off the TV and let it cool down sufficiently.
- For a first pass over the screen with a dry microfiber cloth to remove the largest layer of dust. Don’t have a microfiber cloth handy? A glasses cloth can also help.
- Is the screen still dirty? Then dampen the cloth and wring it out well. It is absolutely not your intention to leave drops of water on the screen, as this can permanently damage your screen.
- Do not rub too hard while cleaning the TV screen to avoid damage such as scratches and streaks.
Keep in mind these tips & tricks
Are the stubborn stains still not gone? Then you can try removing them by adding a small amount of vinegar to your water. There are also specific sprays for screens. Are you cleaning your TV screen? Then immediately check the screens of your computer, tablet or smartphone as well. And be sure not to lose sight of the remote control either. You can clean everything with a damp cloth. Just make sure no water seeps in between the buttons.
