Soaking off dirt
Is there any loose food residue such as crumbs left in the oven? These are best removed with a piece of kitchen roll. Now that all loose food residue has been removed, you can clean the oven. First take the rack and the baking tray out of the oven. These should be cleaned separately. Take a bowl and mix baking soda, warm water and vinegar. Spread the porridge on all surfaces of the oven, grid and baking sheet. Be careful not to get it into the fan (in a hot air oven). Let it soak for a few hours and then remove it with a damp cloth or paper towels.
Tip: Do not use a hard scouring pad, as it may damage the oven window.
Fat Removal
Loosening the dirt has not yet removed all the grease. Therefore, it is best to make a soak with dish soap and thoroughly polish all surfaces. Be sure to rub everything dry thoroughly afterwards.
